Network Tokens

Improve authorization rates by 4% or more and reduce fraud by up to 28% with card data that is always current.

Key Benefits

Increase Authorizations

Card data associated with a customer’s account is always up-to-date, resulting in more successful transactions.

Reduce False Declines

Added security and authentication controls assist in identifying legitimate transactions, lowering false declines.

Reduce Processing Costs

Reduce processing costs with built-in cost incentives based on region and transaction type.

Eliminate Vendor Lock-In

Enjoy the flexibility to use your IXOPAY Network Tokens with any payment provider you choose.

How it Works

Network Tokens, provisioned by the issuing bank and payment network, maintain the same token format across the transaction lifecycle—limiting de-tokenization points and the risk of interception. Each Network Token transaction is validated using a unique cryptogram, ensuring it cannot be reused or exploited, even if it falls into the wrong hands. An embedded account updater automatically refreshes expired or changed card details, resulting in higher approval rates.

What You Get

Automatically Updated Card Data

Eliminate the need to contact customers for updated card information. Perfectly suited for subscription-based businesses, card data is automatically refreshed to reduce missed sales and unintended churn.

Advanced Security

In addition to cryptogram validation, network tokens are configured with domain restrictions and dynamic updates—limiting their usability to specific merchants or channels and reducing vulnerabilities associated with outdated or exposed card details.

Broad Card Network Support

Extend the benefits of network tokenization across your card mix. IXOPAY supports network token provisioning for major card brands, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Additionally, network tokens provisioned by IXOPAY can be used with any provider you choose.

“The IXOPAY experience has been exceptional from inception to production. It was easy to implement, and support has been top-tier.”
